Weaver Lake is home to a variety of fish and vegetation. The dominant species of fish in the lake is Bluegill. However, other fish commonly caught are Black Crappie, Hybrid Sunfish, Pumpkinseed, Largemouth Bass, and Northern Pike. The elusive Tiger Muskellunge is also surely present, but good luck catching them!
There has been some lengthy discussion at our Monthly WLCA board meetings on the topic of Fish Stocking. A survey was also sent out to all the WLCA members. The decision was to start stocking Walleye beginning in 2020 through 2022.
